One or all of these techniques can be used during your treatment time.

Deep Tissue Massage

A type of massage in which the fingers, thumbs and elbows are used to release chronic muscle tension, using slow, deep strokes and friction; the therapist may work perpendicularly to the length of the fibres of the superficial muscles, with the intent of massaging muscle that lies underneath.

Neuromuscular Massage

Neuromuscular massage is a form of deep massage that is applied to individual muscles. It is used primarily to release trigger points (intense knots of muscle tension that refer pain to other parts of the body), and also to increase blood flow. It is often used to reduce pain.

Swedish Massage

The most common type of massage is Swedish massage therapy. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles.

Medical Massage

One or all of these techniques can be used during your treatment time.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue.

Cupping

Cupping is an alternative therapy that involves suctioning the skin with glass, plastic, or silicone cups. It may help improve blood flow, boost immune function, remove toxins, and reduce pain.

Lymphatic Massage

Lymphatic drainage massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels.

Reiki

Reiki is the art of tapping into the Universal Energy that is in and around you, channeling it out of your palms, and into certain areas of the body to heal.

  • It can be used to heal yourself or others.

  • It uses safe and natural energy without harmful side effects.

  • It can be used to heal your body on a physical level and beyond… restoring balance to your spiritual being, as well.

In these ways, Reiki is truly a holistic healing art that treats your whole self.

Pre and Post Surgical

Receiving massage before your operation will cut down on your recovery time. Getting massage post-operation speeds up recovery. Being able to receive treatment before and after help; prepares the areas for healthier muscles, better blood flow. Pain is decreased, the scar heals better, and less swelling occurs.

In Home Massages

You can apply any of these massages in your home. This is great for those who are unable to get into our offices.
